Grace in a Dark Room

Spiritual Ramblings, From my Journey to Yours

I have had many different presentations of spirit guides in what I would consider a relatively short period of time. As they have come and gone over their “time” with me, I’ve come to realize, each “presentation” has had a very specific reason for how they have presented and what they had to teach and/or guide me about. As my personal journey has evolved, I have become pretty confident that our guides present themselves as exactly what we need see at that time, so that we are both more receptive to them and more capable of learning whatever it is we need to comprehend during that phase. When we are muddling our way through the beginning parts of learning how to have a relationship with spirit, if we think a guide should be an old wise shaman, then they probably will be something of the like. If you relate more to a personality that made you feel safe when you were young, maybe they present that way. Maybe your brain is a little more analytical and science based, so your guides may respect your need for evidence and discernment by providing that guidance in way that shows you the information instead of telling you the information. The point is that through the lens of our own minds, spirit become what each individual needs. There is no right or wrong. Only the experience of the now. And if you are learning and growing, it does not matter how they come, only that you keep your mind open and keep paying attention.
